Both Maths Standard (041) and Maths Basic (241) follow the same NCERT syllabus and paper structure. The difference is the difficulty of the questions, and what you can take in Class 11.

Choose Standard if
- you may want PCM, JEE, or any course that needs Mathematics (041) in Class 11–12
- you're comfortable with Maths, or willing to put in the practice
Basic may suit you if
- you're certain you won't take Mathematics (041) in Class 11, for example if you're heading to Humanities, or to Commerce with Applied Maths
- Maths causes you serious difficulty and you want to secure a solid score
