Which chapters to revise first

Must-do: about 10% of the paper or more each

Trigonometry, Circles, Statistics. Revise these first and solve every previous year question on them.

High value: 5–10% each

Probability, Surface Areas & Volumes, Real Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Polynomials. Cover these thoroughly after the must-do chapters.

Lower weightage: under 5% each

Heights & Distances, Coordinate Geometry, Pair of Linear Equations, Arithmetic Progressions, Areas Related to Circles, Triangles. Don't skip them: they still add up and often carry quick one-mark questions.

Do questions repeat in Class 10 Maths Basic?

Comparing all 253 Class 10 Maths Basic board questions from 2022–2026, 25 were asked again, in near-identical form, in a different board year, most often from Polynomials, Circles, Probability. That makes previous year papers especially valuable in this subject.
