Averaged across 8 CBSE Class 10 Science board papers, 2023–2026. All chapters
Physics part (Light, Electricity, Magnetism)
- Ray diagrams: practise until they're quick, neat and labelled with arrows.
- Numericals: write the formula, substitute with units, then box the answer, and watch the sign convention in mirrors and lenses.
- Circuit questions: series vs parallel resistance, power and energy.
Chemistry part
- Balance every equation and include the states where relevant.
- Know the reactions in Carbon Compounds and Acids, Bases & Salts thoroughly.
- Practise the "what happens when" and observation-based questions.
Biology part
- NCERT terms used exactly: write "glomerulus", not "a small filter".
- Labelled diagrams: the human heart, nephron, digestive system, brain, flower section and so on. See important diagrams.
- For "differentiate" questions, use a table with matched points.
Repeats
Exact repeats are rare in Class 10 Science (about 1% of questions from 2022–2026), so understand concepts rather than memorising old answers. Previous year papers are still the best guide to *how* each chapter is asked.
