Is BoardPrep Really Free? No Hidden Charges, No Ads: Here's How
BoardPrep is 100% free for CBSE Class 10 and 12 students, with no paid plan, ads or trial. Here's exactly what you get and what we ask for.
Students and parents ask us this a lot, and they're right to. Here's the plain answer.
Yes, it's free
Every feature in BoardPrep is free: previous year papers, sample papers, 7,694 practice questions with answers, chapter weightage, the mock paper generator, the Pattern Challenge and the study tracker. There is:
- no paid plan or "pro" tier
- no free trial that turns into a subscription
- no card or UPI details asked, ever
- no ads
- no limit on mock papers or downloads
What we ask for
To create your free account: your name, city, phone number, school and class. Your phone number lets you sign in on another device with your login code. We don't sell your data or show ads based on it. Students under 18 should sign up with a parent's or guardian's permission. See the privacy notice.
Why it can be free
BoardPrep is a free project by Dhi & Kin. The question papers are published free by CBSE. The app is a lightweight web app on low-cost cloud hosting, so there's no expensive content team or video library to fund.
Invite & Earn is optional
You can invite friends with your personal link. Each friend who joins earns you an exclusive reward, and your first friend unlocks early access to new features. Inviting is entirely optional, and every study feature stays free either way.
192 CBSE board papers split into single questions with official answers, chapter-wise practice and unlimited mock papers. 100% free: no ads, no paid plan, no hidden charges.
